24/7 trading on selected markets and Japanese stocks
eToro introduced round-the-clock trading for selected commodities, stocks and indices and added Japanese equities, bringing its stock coverage to 26 exchanges.
Key points
- 24/7 trading on selected commodities, stocks and indices
- Japanese shares added; 26 exchanges in total
- Expect wider spreads outside normal hours
eToro has introduced round-the-clock trading for selected commodities, stocks and indices, and added Japanese shares, bringing its stock coverage to 26 exchanges.
Outside normal exchange hours, prices come from thinner markets, so spreads can be wider and prices can jump when the main exchange reopens.
Out-of-hours trading is useful for reacting to news, but check the spread before you trade and avoid large orders when liquidity is low.

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Each broker publishes its own current loss percentage on its website.
