The best CFD brokers that accept traders in your country

We check where XTB, XM, IC Markets, Interactive Brokers, Freedom24, IQ Broker and eToro accept clients, then rank the ones open to you. 193 countries covered, last checked 6 October 2026.

How we score

Each broker gets five sub-scores out of 5:

Regulation and safety (30%), trading costs (25%), platforms and tools (20%), range of markets (15%) and ease of use (10%). The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal.

Availability is checked against each broker's published country lists. The ranking for each country is set by our authors, based on their own experience with these brokers, so the order does not always follow the scores. Full methodology

Advertiser disclosure

Broksal is free to use because some brokers pay us a commission when you open an account through our links. It costs you nothing.

Commissions do not affect our rankings. The order reflects the editorial opinion of our authors, and the facts we publish about regulation, fees and country availability come from the brokers' own documents and independent sources.

Questions traders ask

What is a CFD broker?

A CFD broker lets you trade contracts for difference: agreements to exchange the change in price of an asset such as a currency pair, index, commodity or share, without owning it. CFDs are leveraged, so gains and losses are magnified.

Which CFD broker is best for beginners?

For most beginners our authors recommend XTB where it is available, thanks to its strong regulation, no minimum deposit and an easy platform.

Why does the ranking change from country to country?

Brokers only accept residents of countries where they hold the right licences or choose to operate. Each country page shows only the brokers that accept residents there, chosen by our authors.

Can I trade CFDs in the United States?

No. US retail traders cannot trade over-the-counter CFDs. Brokers such as Interactive Brokers and eToro accept US residents for real stocks, ETFs and (at eToro) crypto, but not CFDs.

Are Freedom24 and eToro CFD brokers?

eToro offers CFDs alongside real stocks and crypto. Freedom24 does not offer CFDs at all: it is an investment broker for real shares, options, bonds and IPOs, included for readers who prefer to own the underlying asset.
