How we score

Each broker gets five sub-scores out of 5:

Regulation and safety (30%), trading costs (25%), platforms and tools (20%), range of markets (15%) and ease of use (10%). The overall score is the weighted average, rounded to one decimal.

Availability is checked against each broker's published country lists. The ranking order is editorial and reflects our commercial agreements, so it does not always follow the scores. Full methodology

Advertiser disclosure

Broksal is free to use because some brokers pay us a commission when you open an account through our links. This can influence which broker we feature and the order in which brokers appear.

Commissions never change the facts we publish about regulation, fees or country availability, and they cost you nothing.

Stocks from Poland: the rules

Profits from CFDs are taxed at 19% and declared on the annual PIT-38 return. Brokers send a PIT-8C summary; foreign brokers without a Polish branch may not, in which case you calculate the result yourself. EU investment firms are covered by an investor compensation scheme, usually up to €20,000 per client.

Securities business in Poland is supervised by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF). Foreign brokers serve residents under their own licences, so check which company holds your shares.

XTB supports PLN accounts, Polish-language support from Warsaw and tax-advantaged IKE and IKZE accounts for investing. Spot crypto at XTB is not yet available in Poland because the national crypto-assets law has not taken effect.
